Pregnancy Update + Stuff

So I had my 36-week appointment today. She checked my cervix, and it isn't dilating yet, but it's *starting*! The Electric Baby's heartbeat was 150 bpm - a little faster than at other visits, but she was more active than usual for midday. And she has turned head-down! We got out the ultrasound to double-check that, and so I have a little blurry picture of a baby ghost face - you can just make out the outlines of eyes and nose and mouth, looking straight at you. Wow. This is really happening. She is still pretty squirmy.

I went errand-running this afternoon, and bought mucho cheap yarn, on sale at various places. I saw a clever newborn baby outfit at the drugstore of all places, but resisted (it was convertible, in fact: it's a gown! No, it's a sleeper with legs!). I'll go back and buy it next week, I think.... :) My baby shower is Sunday. Several people have mentioned to me how excited they are to get to shopping for baby things for me. *grin*

Yarn. Must go obsess over my yarn purchases. Mmmmm.

Wow, I cannot believe how quickly the time has passed! I am very glad to hear EB has inverted herself. I know you were a little concerned about that. Enjoy these last few weeks!
