Let's see - I've had a headache since I finished my Big Test 2 days ago;
galagan has hives (or a bug bite gone really horribly horribly wrong); everyone's crabby. Elena is clearly picking up our mood(s) and being crabby right back, alternating with periods of utter boingy hyper-osity that make me want to kill her.
That said, we were driving to the mall this morning, and a black bear crossed the road well in front of us, and then one by one, 3 bear cubs stumbled over the guard rail and followed her. Cars stopped in both directions - I can only assume that everyone else was picking their jaws up off the floor too. I know there are bears around here, but I don't expect to see them out and about in broad daylight. Baby bear cubs!!!!! Even from a distance they were extra-super-cute.
galagan bought a new camera for his quickly-approaching Yukon trip, we got a dress for Elena (who is in an extra-girly-dresses-only phase now), and sunglasses for me (because Elena broke mine right after we walked into Target - at least that piece of timing was good).
It's hot. And hazy. I hope there are storms coming - I can't handle this weather. And it's certainly contributing to the family crabbiness levels.
I'm sure I had something else to say that wasn't bitching and moaning, but can't imagine for the life of me what that could have been.

Date: 2008-07-21 02:00 pm (UTC)This heat makes me cranky, too. I hear it is supposed to be substantially cooler soon, if that's any consolation.

Date: 2008-07-21 04:21 pm (UTC)Hives- poor Galagan! Localized? I just realized that the reason my face was getting more and more irritated and red wasn't sunburn, it was an allergy to whatever they put in the fancy new sunscreen.
"periods of utter boingy hyper-osity that make me want to kill her" Yes. Oh yes. I feel your pain. Sammy's been doing that to wake me up in the morning. *groan*
