(Personally, I think someone should write something on what it's like to be a Blue Person in a Red State, or vice versa. Yeah yeah - maybe because I am one of those. But that would bring a bit more nuance to the whole thing.)

Gah. I thought that article was remarkably condescending. I spent seven years as a Red person in a Blue state, hating it all the way, and that article still grated on me. I mean, I'm true-Blue and we had hamburgers and Tater Tots Saturday night.

Gah. I got that wrong. I'm an effete liberal. So I was a Red person in a Blue state, and I'm true-Red. But purple is my favorite color anyway...
