In which I inform you that it really *is* spring out there.

To all the people who are complaining about how un-spring-like our weather is (which is NOT most of you, since that is mostly people I encounter day-to-day at toddler thingies, or store clerks, or what-have-you)......

I would like to alert you to the fact that our woodchuck is out of hibernation, and poking around my backyard.

I ranted to my dad the other day that people are really thinking of late spring things - flowers and sun and warm temperatures - when they talk about spring, but this part - mud and rain and chilly air - is just as much spring! Look outside right now - it isn't really winter anymore, to my eyes. Ergo: spring!!!!

(I'm tired of people whining about this. Get over it! *grin*)
