Nothing will make you want to scream as much as watching the White House press briefing. Scott McClellan is a weasel, but he is very good at staying on message (which is his job, basically). I kept waiting for someone to ask about the Babs Bush comment, but no such luck.

Mike McSomething from the Clinton White House was awesome. I watched a briefing once where a reporter asked him a leading question, and he just sighed and said tiredly, "Now why did you ask something like that that you know I'm not going to answer? Next question."

I stole it from tzikeh who was encouraging all of LJ to take it and use it liberally. (I believe her words were "we need to paper LJ wall to wall with this icon", or words to that effect.)

Yeah, that transcript is pretty indicative of the tone of all the press briefings I've seen this week.
