kouredios brought Cassie over for a playdate. yaoobruni also stopped by briefly. Now I am roasting things (potatoes and turnips).
In 2007, I posted on the 2nd about just seeing asanj, and about the quilt I was working on, using this modern marvel called "a sewing machine". We were getting ready to go to Burlington for a quick holiday visit.
In 2006, I was en route from LA to Montana (and thereafter to Massachusetts). I didn't post that day - but on the 3rd I drove from southern Utah to eastern Idaho, and went by my childhood home in Pocatello. (On the 4th, I went down a certain highway that ended up being closed off for an hour for the town of Ennis (MT)'s parade.)
In 2005, I wrote about my maternal grandmother's death the night before.
In 2004, I was heading out to go camping withgalagan, my mom and her friend, near Island Lake in the Beartooth Mountains. The funny thing (to me) is that I was pregnant, but hadn't told anyone yet (beyond galagan), so I felt obsessed and like I was probably acting bizarrely, and everyone (i.e. my mom) would know just by looking at me. :) It was a miserable camping trip too - I was slightly queasy, plus it was freezing cold, with drizzle and wind. We gave up early on the 4th and went back to town.
In 2003, I wasn't on LJ yet.
