Interesting article at Slate.com about osteoporosis and calcium. I have a huge majority of the risk factors for osteoporosis (starting with #1: a strong family history), and I don't drink milk, so I've always tried to Be Good about taking calcium supplements. This article raises questions about the validity of that behavior. :)

Random: the bathrooms at my library smell really good. I had been thinking that it was a grape Kool-aid scent, but I realized today that it's Sweet-tarts! I love Sweet-tarts; they are one of my favorite candies. And I couldn't tell you the last time I had one. (Easter, maybe.)

Cool new project I'm now working on at the library: taking old photo negatives (from the local newspaper) and sliding them into little plastic sleeves, and labeling with the date. The boxes I'm working on are from 1951. The old cars, the old buildings on Main Street, the dresses..... it's really fun.

Rain, rain, go away, I want to do laundry, and I want to hang it up on the clothesline.
