Happy Canada Day

Elena's been talking about parades lately, so I mentioned off-hand that we would probably go to a parade in a couple of days. But that seems to have just made her parade-need more immediate. After dinner, she was insisting, "I want to go to a parade." galagan suggested that we have our own parade in honor of Canada Day, so we marched up and down the hall, galagan first, singing "O Canada" (we finally had to google all the lyrics), then me, clapping and marching (trying to do occasional drum rolls) and then Elena, banging two spoons together. We were fabulous. Woo.
