(no subject)

Had a wonderful weekend full of lots of happy people visiting - yay! Except it was - and it still is - too darn hot. Though I am the original T-shirt and shorts girl, I have finally resorted to dresses, and I must admit, I am pretty comfortable. But I have to fight the urge to pull the dress up over my head, toddler-style. I totally understand that impulse right now. (Fortunately, I'm alone right now, so I can wave the skirt of my long dress as high as I want.)

Yesterday, I just collapsed on the couch and read my book. I think that's in order today too. I'm just useless when it gets like this. Ick.

Maybe I'll turn the Weather Channel back on and see if there are any thunderstorms materializing. This is the one circumstance in which I'll cheer on the storms and hope they come closer.
