Dec. 4th, 2007 02:00 pmI am having a good day. Yesterday I discovered that my best beloved winter hat was missing - I've had it 10 years and adore it. I remembered having it on Sunday while running errands, and asked at the customer service desk at the grocery store - and she had it! I'm so so happy to have my hat back. You truly have no idea.
Then, naptime was much less stressful today than yesterday. This is not to say that she is actually *sleeping* right now (I can hear her chatting away to her dolls, or maybe she's reciting a memorized book), but there wasn't huge amounts of screaming first. That counts in the good column.
Also, I think I just narrowly avoided having a TMX Elmo sent here as a Christmas present. (Words fail me to describe just how much I hate those nasty things. I can't even imagine how I would try to destroy the hellspawn if we were sent one. Burning's too good for it.) But! disaster averted - instead there will be a Tonka truck. Whew.
