Everyone Else is Doing It....

So, all day I've been watching thanks of all sorts and flavors pop up on my friendslist, and contemplating a post of my own. But I keep getting stuck - I just have two main ones, but one of 'em is a biggie.....

I am seriously glad to be alive and here and kicking, and to be living the life I have right now. It isn't perfect, but it's good, and I'm working on improving it in many little ways. But I love my life. I love my little family and our lovely house that is our refuge and nest and just the best place to hang our collective hats.

Also? I'm thankful for fingernails, because without them, I'd cut one of my fingers off pretty much any time I'm in the kitchen with a knife.
