Nov. 28th, 2005 10:45 amI'm nearly beside myself. The EB is sleeping - taking a nap - in her crib. She fell asleep on me (as she's been doing for her morning nap lately) and I thought, "Hmm, maybe I'll try to transfer her over into the crib." And - ye gods - it worked. She hasn't had a daytime nap in her crib for.... months. (It's been either on me, or in her carseat.) Color me stunned.

Thanksgiving was good - no family squabbles or tension. My mother did her usual trick of planning plenty of food, and then at the last minute deciding that she'd make another dish or two "just in case", which meant we had gobs and gobs more food than you could ever imagine. Everything was excellent - but there was so much you couldn't take more than a few bites of each thing.
