Yes, I now know that I could never become a vegan, just for the cheese. (Not that I was thinking about that, but well, you know.) For the record, I'm still Being Good about Dairy Products. I'm going to take the EB to the lactation consultant's office tomorrow to weigh her (they have open access to a baby scale - and it's free), and assuming things still look good and she's packing on the ounces, I'll contemplate eating a piece of cheese sometime thereafter and then take things from there....

My friend at work (ex-work?) sent out a few pictures to my former co-workers from the shower she threw for me, and one (Hispanic) person wrote back "pretty cute for a white baby (hahaha)". I laughed for a full minute after I saw that.

galagan is singing to the EB because she was crying a little bit. Oh gods, if I could only recreate some of his made-up songs. Suffice it to say, he's good at thinking up new lyrics on the spot.

I have very little non-baby stuff to say. So that will have to do. (I am reading a decent book - but just a few pages at a time, so it's taking a while. Austenian fanfic, basically. *grin* It's okay, especially if you're Austen-obsessed.)
