Mmmm, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. I just reread this, and it was great as always!! I have so many favorite parts. (The "dead in a box" speech has to top that list, of course.)

Did everyone see that Paula Danziger died? Though the book of hers that always gets mentioned first is The Cat Ate My Gymsuit, my favorite was always The Pistachio Prescription. There are still certain lines I always think of from that book (of particular note - when her sister is wearing a turtleneck at the height of summer to hide all her hickeys, and Cassie snarks "I think Greg must turn into a vampire when the moon is full." That always flashes into my brain - just for a second - when I think of hickeys. *grin*). I recently read Gymsuit again, and was surprised at how political it was - I didn't remember that from when I was 10 or 12 or whatever.

Too hot. Just eating cantaloupe and playing on the compupter and reading. The fan in this room is turned to directly blow on me, so it's quite survivable.

After a day - hell, a whole weekend - of sitting around doing practically nothing, I am AccomplishedWoman! tonight. I cleaned up the whole kitchen. I ran the very full dishwasher, so we'll have clean glasses and forks again. I started on several loads of laundry. I watered all my pots of herbs and flowers in the hopes they aren't dead yet. I am also watering the grass outside so it won't die. (Yes, this is a lot of water usage all at once. While the washer is filling for the second load, there is practically no water pressure through the hose, and there's just a little sputter that covers about a sqaure foot of lawn.)

We're both sorta watching A Civil Action - keep wandering in and out of the living room. I think I enjoy the book more (big surprise).

I probably did other things too. But now I can't remember. :)
