We are watching DVDs of Classic Sesame Street (because it's too hot for anything else). Oscar introduced a warthog segment.

me: a warthog
Elena: (pause) Ribbit. Ribbit.

Elena: Ribbit.

Then she'd smush it up to her face and say something resembling "smile". I realized that it is just about the same size as a camera. It was so cute, but I couldn't get her to demonstrate for [livejournal.com profile] galagan.

I love this age. Cassie has been known to hold anythign resembling a phone up to her ear (including her shoe) and start chattering away.
