Apr. 16th, 2007 03:10 pmCut to the Quick, by Kate Ross. A Regency mystery - as a Regency, it's pretty good; as a mystery, it's also pretty good. I have to be in the right mood for mysteries, though. The detective (Mr. Julian Kestrel) is pretty fabulous though - witty, urbane, clever, and an all-around good guy. I could have a little crush on him.
