I had jury duty this morning, and honestly, the hardest part was getting myself to Pittsfield so early in the morning. I left the house at an hour at which I am often still in bed (because my life is good, these days). (I'm usually *awake*, just not mobile.....) They released us at 11:00, because the one trial that seemed likely to move forward was not going to be happening until late afternoon, and so the judge took pity on us and made an executive decision to send us home. While sitting in the jury room, I planned out a written response on some school stuff for one of my classes, finished the World's Most Boring Crochet Square (of the on-going it-will-never-end afghan project), and read about half of The Lost Steersman, which is OMG so good.

Now I am back home and trying to get all that other Important Stuff done. It's a little tricky getting back into the swing of things for school.
